Sunday April 27th, British photographer Tim Hetherington received the World Press Photo Award 2007 in Amsterdam's Oude Kerk (Old Church). The Award consists of a work of art, a cash prize of 10.000 euro and a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III camera. The annual World Press Photo exhibition will open two days later on April 29th in the Oude Kerk, and will tour 40 cities worldwide.
